Faith leaders play a critical role in providing comfort and hope during disasters. There are so many practices you can engage in to best care for yourself and the people you lead. This resource offers some best practices to help you navigate crisis response with wisdom, compassion, and resilience.
LA County Recovery Resources
LA County Recovers is a webpage that has all the details of the various state and local agencies that you may need in your recovery process. They will all be located at the Pasadena City College Community Education Center, located at 3035 E. Foothill Blvd. Pasadena, CA, 91107 from 9 am to 8 pm daily.
Ash Out Services
Samaritan’s Purse is International Disaster Relief Agency that has been authorized to go into devastated areas to help home owners and renters by searching through debris to recover personal items. For homeowners in need of assistance with personal content recovery call 833.747.1234 and press option 5 for the Eaton Fire. Grief counseling support is also available.
